Chicago Restaurant Wine Bar Expected to Take Flight

A new Chicago restaurant and wine bar in Old Town opening soon. There are no direct flights from Chicago to the wine regions of France, Spain, New Zealand oreven Napa Valley for that matter. Yet, the closest visage of these vineyards transporting an essence of vintages imported from per se Alsace, Logrono and Marlborough recently moved into the Old Town neighborhood.
Sandwiched between Einstein’s Bagels and the Old Town Nursery and Garden shop,  it’s the type of Chicago restaurant and wine bar meant for carousing with other local folks of the neighborhood. The soon to open Chicago restaurant, goes by the moniker Flight 1551, reflecting its address  on Wells Street, beckons locales to sip and savor whatever signature offerings it plans to push, pour and dish out.
